Process Safety Management

J.P. Kempf provides clients with a complete toolbox of Process Safety Services in order to meet all compliance and operational needs. We offer training for both clients and employees on each element of the regulations. We have specific guidelines for developing written programs to meet PSM regulations, integrating PSM requirements into other corporate programs, and evaluating program compliance throughout the implementation phase. In today's workplace the existence of toxins, pathogens, hazardous conditions and life threatening situations have made regulations stricter. Sometimes, increased inspections with severe monetary penalties seem to be the driving force behind compliance; however, it is cost effective to be proactive by establishing a sound safety and compliance program in advance that protects employees, the community and the business unit from devastating shutdowns and accidents. J.P. Kempf offers the following process safety services:

  • Consulting, Creating & Auditing of Safety Program
  • 24 hour Emergency Response
  • Implement Online or Onsite Process Safety Management Program
  • Implement Online or Onsite Risk Management Program
  • Develop Detailed Operating Procedures
  • Employee Training
  • Training Based on OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA Standards for General & Hazardous Conditions
  • Develop Emergency Plans & First Aid/CPR Training Program
  • Online or Onsite Scheduled Program Audits, Equipment Maintenance & Training

Emergency Response Training (ERT)
Emergency Response means a response effort by employees from outside the immediate release area or by other designated responders (mutual-aid groups, local fire departments, etc.) to an occurrence which results, or is likely to result, in an uncontrolled release of hazardous substance. Since 2000, J.P. Kempf hosts annual training classes for employees and our clients. Our employees and clients have the knowledge of basic hazards, use of personal protective equipment, understanding of key hazardous terms, understanding contamination procedures and understanding of standard operating procedures. This training program meets the OSHA mandated requirements. Contact us for information on our next scheduled class.
